Bringing this vision to life in College Park was a journey marked by patience, dedicated hard work, and impeccable timing. Stepping into Nouveau is like entering a story told through design; from the carefully chosen lighting and elegant flooring to the captivating cityscape mural, every detail contributes to the ambiance. The venue pulses with vibrant energy on the bar side, transitioning to a subtly serene and sophisticated elegance in the main dining area. College Park proved to be the ideal location, warmly embracing the concept of upscale dining and entertainment and demonstrating a need for venues that truly reflect the city’s spirit.
My journey is deeply rooted in faith and unwavering determination. Hospitality has been a long-held aspiration, but for years, potential locations simply didn’t align with my vision, or a deep sense of faith signaled that the timing wasn’t right. Then, in 2019, following a meeting with my realtor and trusted advisors, we happened upon the Broad Street location. An immediate connection sparked, not only with the physical space but also with the surrounding College Park area. Leveraging my background in marketing and real estate, I meticulously analyzed the potential and swiftly moved to secure the location. Typically, launching a new venture involves navigating numerous obstacles, but in this instance, they seemed to effortlessly dissipate, reinforcing the conviction that this was divinely guided. Venturing into the restaurant industry as a newcomer seemed daunting. However, I was incredibly fortunate to be introduced to Greg Cole, an exceptional consultant who quickly became a valued friend and mentor.
