Since its inception, Main Street Mercantile has proudly collaborated with over 200 diverse brands. This dedication to small American businesses allows them to present a constantly evolving and captivating array of products. Shoppers can explore a wide selection, from handcrafted candles and exquisite jewelry to luxurious bath products and eco-conscious cleaning solutions. The store also features high-quality cosmetics and charming children’s accessories, ensuring there’s something special for everyone who walks through the door or browses online.
After almost two years of attentively listening to and understanding the desires of Main Street Mercantile’s devoted clientele, the visionary owner, Vana Lyon, alongside her loyal shop companion, Rusty – a rescued boxer with undeniable charm – recognized an opportunity to broaden their offerings. With physical space at the original Main Street Mercantile location becoming a premium, Vana made the strategic decision to acquire a nearby vacant building. This new space was envisioned to house Rusty’s Dry Goods, a concept dedicated to catering to the needs and tastes of men.
While renovations were underway to transform the new building, Vana passionately expanded her network of partnerships with even more small American businesses, specifically curating a robust assortment of men’s products. In this endeavor, she placed a special emphasis on collaborating with Veteran-Owned businesses, further solidifying Main Street Mercantile’s commitment to supporting diverse and impactful enterprises. Rusty’s Dry Goods officially opened its doors on July 23, 2022, presenting a compelling collection of barware, premium grooming essentials, stylish men’s apparel, distinctive accessories, aromatic candles, and much more.
During the summer of 2024, extensive renovations were finalized at the Rusty’s Dry Goods building, creating the perfect environment to welcome Main Street Mercantile. On September 22, 2024, Main Street Mercantile seamlessly relocated to the Rusty’s building. Now, both beloved shops thrive harmoniously under one roof, delivering an enriched and more convenient shopping experience for all patrons seeking unique, American-made treasures at Main Street Mercantile.
