Dream Street Ms is a unique five-day, four-night overnight camping program specifically designed for children with physical disabilities. Nestled within the beautiful grounds of URJ Henry S. Experience the Dream Street Difference
Dream Street MS is more than just a summer camp; it’s a place where every child, regardless of their physical challenges, can thrive. We believe in providing a fun-filled, enriching environment where campers can forge lasting friendships, achieve personal milestones, and feel genuinely accepted for who they are. Our program is carefully crafted to foster growth and independence, allowing children to learn valuable life skills within a supportive group setting. The impact of Dream Street MS extends beyond the campers, profoundly touching the lives of our dedicated staff as well. At Dream Street MS, we celebrate children for being children – not defining them by their disabilities. This is the essence of the Dream Street magic.

Our Mission: Empowering Children Through Inclusion
Founded in 1975, Dream Street MS operates on a powerful mission: to ensure every child, irrespective of their abilities, has the chance to experience the joys of childhood. We are committed to offering opportunities for fun, friendship, achievement, and acceptance. We believe in the transformative power of community and the lessons learned through shared experiences. Dream Street MS provides a nurturing space where children with physical disabilities are empowered to simply be kids.
Our campers primarily come from Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and West Tennessee, and are typically between the ages of 8 and 14. We welcome children with a wide range of physical disabilities, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, limb deficiencies, spinal cord injuries, communicative disorders, and other developmental disabilities.
Each summer, we are privileged to host approximately sixty campers in our overnight program. To be eligible, children should be between 8 and 14 years old and have a physical disability or mobility impairment.
