Effective February 1, 2021, commuters and visitors using the Green Street Garage in Cambridge will see adjustments to daily parking fees. The Cambridge Traffic, Parking, and Transportation Department is implementing these changes to align parking costs with comparable facilities in the vicinity. While daily rates are changing, there will be no increases to night, weekend, and monthly parking fees at this time, ensuring consistent rates for regular users and residents. The rate adjustments are designed to maintain reasonable parking costs for individuals who rely on the garage during the day. Most daily parkers can expect an increase between $2.00 and $4.00 in their total parking expense.
Green Street Garage – Updated Daily Parking Fees
The following updated fee structure for daily parking at the Green Street Garage will be in effect from February 1, 2021:

Resident Parking Program at First Street Garage
Cambridge residents have access to a reduced monthly parking program at the First Street Parking Garage. This program allows residents to park for $100.00 per month from May through November and $50.00 per month from December through April. Participation in this program requires a Resident Parking Permit and a one-time $10.00 fee for an electronic access card. This card is necessary for garage entry and exit.
