Four Arrested Following Assaults at Richardson Street Garage in Greenville, SC

Greenville, SC – Four individuals have been charged after a series of assaults were reported at the Richardson Street Garage in downtown Greenville early Sunday morning.

According to the Greenville Police Department, officers responded to a call at the Richardson Street garage around 2:45 a.m. regarding a reported assault. Upon arrival, police encountered a witness who stated she had been attacked by two women on the second floor of the parking structure and subsequently followed to the fourth floor.

Further investigation revealed another victim who reported being assaulted by men from the same group involved in the initial attack. Officers also located a third victim who stated she was punched in the face during the incident at the Richardson Street garage.

On Tuesday evening, police announced the arrest and charges against four individuals in connection to the assaults. Jennifer Pace, 26, faces two counts of Assault & Battery and one count of Malicious Damage. Hannah Poole, 21, is charged with three counts of Assault & Battery and one count of Malicious Damage. Arrest warrants indicate video footage shows both women assaulting two of the victims. They are also accused of damaging a victim’s car and smashing their phone. Poole reportedly confessed to assaulting a third victim.

Johnny Holcombe Jr., 24, has been charged with one count of Assault and Battery. His arrest warrant states he turned himself in on May 17th and admitted to being involved in the altercation at the Richardson Street garage.

The fourth suspect, Trenston Leavell Simpson, is also charged with one count of Assault and Battery. Police are currently seeking to locate Simpson and are asking for public assistance.
