Craving genuine Thai street food near Siam Station? Look no further! After a tip from a friend, we ventured out to this local eatery and were absolutely blown away. So much so, we had to return for a second helping! Our recent lunch visit on a Saturday proved just as delightful as our first, even starting off quieter around 12:20 pm before the lunchtime rush. We were greeted with a warm smile from the incredibly friendly cashier and server, Im, who remembered us from our previous visit. This time, we chose a table inside, offering a full view of the bustling little restaurant.

Quick Service and Enticing Entrees
Im was promptly at our table with menus and refreshing iced waters. Having sampled and loved the appetizers on our initial visit, we decided to dive straight into the main courses this time. My wife opted for the classic CASHEW CHICKEN, described as stir-fried marinated chicken in a savory house sauce with cashew nuts, dried chili, and carrots, requesting it “low spicy”. For myself, I chose the KAPOW, a quintessential Thai stir-fry with holy basil, chili, garlic, green beans, carrots, and bell peppers, enhanced with a +$3 upgrade for Filet Mignon and “medium spicy”.
The speed of service here is truly remarkable. During our first visit, we were seated and served within a mere six minutes despite the restaurant being packed. Incredibly, they replicated this lightning-fast service on our second visit!

Flavorful Dishes and Generous Portions
Before we knew it, our entrees arrived, and the portions were impressively generous and looked incredibly appetizing. We also ordered a Thai Iced Tea from Im, which appeared in just two minutes. My wife was in culinary heaven with her Cashew Chicken, praising the incredibly tender white chicken and the perfectly crisp and flavorful vegetables. My Kapow with filet mignon, costing only a small amount extra, was an absolute highlight. The filet mignon was genuinely juicy, top-quality, and abundant throughout the dish.
Im, our ever-attentive and sweet server, checked on us regularly, ensuring we had everything we needed. Despite our best efforts, the portion sizes proved to be quite substantial, and we happily requested boxes to take the leftovers home for dinner.
