Mr. Wright has a proven track record as an early adopter and developer of today’s mainstream ERP and cloud technologies. His career highlights include successfully managing numerous global SAP and Oracle implementations and operations. Notably, he has overseen some of the earliest production go-lives of SAP Business Suite on HANA and S/4HANA on AWS, demonstrating his forward-thinking approach and deep technical expertise within enterprise solutions relevant to Rimini Street company’s service offerings.
Before joining Rimini Street company, and following a brief period in private equity, Mr. Wright held the position of Chief Information Officer and Vice President of IT and Digital for Engie North America. At Engie, a leading French renewable energy company, he was responsible for all IT and digital operations across the North American region (U.S. and Canada). His wide-ranging responsibilities included Digital Solutions, Cybersecurity, IT Architecture, IT Operations, and business applications supporting the Renewable, Energy Solutions, Networks, and Thermal Supply business units. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wright served as Chief Information Officer for Pacific Drilling, a startup global deep-water drilling contractor operating in key regions like West Africa, Brazil, and the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. He also held significant management roles at Weatherford International, Halliburton (Landmark Graphics), and Gulfmark Offshore (now Tidewater), accumulating a wealth of experience in diverse energy sector environments.
