Looking ahead to 2024, numerous projects are already underway, a testament to Cottage Street’s ongoing commitment and trusted reputation.
Scott’s background includes six years at EYA, LLC, a distinguished urban infill developer recognized twice as National Builder of the Year, where he served as Procurement Manager. This experience equipped him with industry-leading business practices and fostered strong relationships with top-tier trade contractors in the region, all of which he brings to Cottage Street Custom Homes. His foundation was laid at Ryland Homes, a Fortune 500 home builder, where he honed his skills as a Construction Manager and Contracts Manager, contributing to the construction of approximately 300 homes. Holding a Class A Licensed Contractor designation, Scott earned his Bachelor’s degree from Grove City College and pursued Masters level studies at Johns Hopkins – Carey Business School. Before joining Cottage Street, Kyle excelled as a Superintendent at Taylor Morrison Homes in Tampa, FL, overseeing the development of single and multifamily residential communities. His dedication to customer satisfaction at Taylor Morrison was nationally recognized with the “Rockstar” award for two consecutive years, ranking #1 in customer satisfaction across the nation. He also received the prestigious “Golden Hammer” award from the Tampa Bay Builders Association, acknowledging him as builder of the year.
Kyle’s extensive background includes coastal wetland restoration, custom home building and remodeling, collaborations with the Army Corps of Engineers at Martinsburg WV Air Force Base, and serving as a field representative for a Geotechnical and Engineering firm.
