The safety and well-being of our employees and partners at the NYC Department of Education are paramount. In response to the ongoing COVID-19/coronavirus situation, please be advised that the 65 Court Street Service Center is currently not open for walk-in visits.
To ensure everyone’s safety while still providing efficient support, we ask that all individuals needing assistance from 65 Court Street contact our offices virtually. This approach allows us to address your needs as quickly and effectively as possible. Please find detailed instructions below on how to reach the relevant departments.
Fingerprinting Procedures
Please note important changes regarding fingerprinting services. As of April 22, 2022, the NYC DOE no longer schedules appointments for fingerprinting at DOE facilities. Consequently, fingerprinting services are no longer available at 65 Court Street or any NYC DOE location.
Moving forward, all fingerprinting for NYC DOE candidates will be managed by a third-party vendor, IdentoGO. The last day to complete fingerprinting directly with the NYC DOE was Friday, April 22, 2022. After this date, there was a brief blackout period.
Fingerprinting services through IdentoGO became available starting May 5, 2022. For the most current instructions on completing your fingerprinting requirements after April 22, please consult the Fingerprinting Instructions within the Applicant Gateway.
I-9 Documentation Verification
For individuals who require I-9 verification of documentation, please be aware of a procedural update effective May 1, 2022. This process now necessitates an in-person appointment at the HR Connect Service Center.
You can conveniently schedule your appointment through the HR Connect Service Center Reservation System: HR Connect Service Center Reservation System.
