Downtown Anderson favorite, Earle Street Kitchen & Bar, is bringing its celebrated Southern cuisine to a new venue. Next month marks the anticipated opening of a second Earle Street location, set within the prestigious Club at Brookstone.
Earle Street at Brookstone will reside inside the Club at Brookstone’s clubhouse, a prominent feature of the golf course development located conveniently off Interstate 85, Exit 27 in Anderson County. This expansion is a mere 1.5 miles from the interstate, making it easily accessible for both local residents and travelers.
Regan Oppermann, the owner of Earle Street Kitchen & Bar, conveyed her enthusiasm in a prepared statement, “Expanding beyond our familiar downtown restaurant is an exciting challenge. It’s a great opportunity to bring our own brand of Southern cuisine to a new area, and we think Earle Street at Brookstone will be an ideal setting for a wide variety of diners to enjoy their new favorite dishes.” This new venture promises to introduce Earle Street’s distinctive flavors to a broader audience within Anderson and the surrounding Upstate region.
Patrons of Earle Street’s original downtown location will be pleased to find many of their beloved menu items at Earle Street at Brookstone. The menu will feature signature dishes including the succulent pork ribeye, tender filet mignon, classic chicken and waffles, comforting meatloaf, and the flavorful shrimp and grits. These popular choices are expected to translate seamlessly to the new location, offering a familiar yet refined dining experience.
Tom Winkopp, the majority owner of The Club at Brookstone, highlighted the significance of this partnership. “Earle Street is a very good, solid Anderson brand,” Winkopp stated. “We are excited to have a restaurant like this be part of the journey as we make exciting changes and major renovations throughout the development.” The addition of Earle Street Kitchen & Bar is a key element in the ongoing revitalization and enhancement of The Club at Brookstone.
The new restaurant is part of a substantial multiphase, multimillion-dollar renovation project at The Club at Brookstone. This investment underscores the commitment to creating a premier destination in Anderson.
Winkopp also mentioned that Rick Barnes, the former Clemson University men’s basketball coach and current coach at the University of Tennessee, remains involved in the development as a silent partner with a minority ownership interest.
The Club at Brookstone is currently undergoing significant upgrades, starting with improvements to the golf course in late May. Future phases of the renovation will include a brand-new pool complex, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a professional corporate boardroom, and a relaxing cabana bar. These additions are designed to transform The Club at Brookstone into a comprehensive lifestyle and leisure destination.
“I live around here, and I want this development to be something this area can be proud of,” Winkopp added. “We are glad that the folks at Earle Street are going to be part of our vision.” The collaboration between The Club at Brookstone and Earle Street Kitchen & Bar signifies a promising development for the Anderson community, combining upscale dining with enhanced recreational amenities.
