Tickets for this newly announced date will go on sale Friday, the 28th at 10:00 AM. Set your alarms and get ready to snag your spot to see this phenomenal live act.

What makes a Lake Street Dive tour so special? It’s more than just a concert; it’s a communal experience. The five-piece band, featuring the captivating vocals of Rachael Price, alongside Bridget Kearney on bass/background vocals, Mike Calabrese on drums/background vocals, Akie Bermiss on keyboards/vocals, and James Cornelison on guitar/background vocals, are masters at forging a powerful connection with their audience. Their live performances are renowned for creating an inclusive and uplifting atmosphere, making every attendee feel part of something special.

Lake Street Dive’s music itself is a unifying force. They effortlessly weave together diverse musical threads – soul, folk, jazz, and pop – into a tapestry of sound that is both familiar and refreshingly original. This eclectic approach is further showcased in their latest album, “Good Together.” The album embodies a spirit of “joyful rebellion,” a concept the band uses to describe their artistic ethos. “Good Together” delves into themes of overcoming division and embracing joy as a vital response to the negativity prevalent in today’s world.

Mike Calabrese explains the inspiration behind the album: “There’s a lot to be angry about in the world right now… but it isn’t sustainable to constantly live in that anger—you need something else to keep you going. Joy is a great way to sustain yourself, and we wanted to encourage everyone to stay aware of that.” This sentiment resonates deeply within their music and is amplified in their live performances.

The creation of “Good Together” also marked a new chapter in Lake Street Dive’s collaborative process. For the first time, they collectively wrote songs from the ground up. Gathering at Calabrese’s Vermont studio, they employed a unique method using a 20-sided die to determine musical parameters like chords, meter, and tempo. This unconventional approach pushed their creative boundaries and led to exciting new sonic territories. Bridget Kearney describes the process: “We’d take those elements and jam for a while, go our separate ways and come up with lyrics and melodies, then come back together and workshop everything. It ended up taking us to new places we never would’ve gotten to otherwise.”

Fans eager to secure tickets for the July 6th show at Jackson Hole Center for the Arts have several presale opportunities. An artist presale begins Wednesday the 26th at 10 am, followed by a Spotify presale starting Thursday the 27th at 12:00 PM. Don’t miss your chance to experience the “Good Together” tour and witness Lake Street Dive’s captivating live performance.
