However, coffee aficionados won’t have to wait long for their caffeine fix, as Second Nature Coffee Co. is set to take over the spot almost immediately.
King Street Coffee, situated at 110 South King Street, announced the closure on social media. Owner Abbie Whitehurst shared the emotional news, stating, “It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the closure of King Street Coffee at this location.” She expressed her disappointment and dedication to keeping the coffee shop running for the community. Nikki Sicilian from Buffalo Wing Factory assured that they appreciate the “small town, eclectic feel” of downtown Leesburg and intend to maintain it, promising a seamless transition for the loyal customer base of King Street Coffee.
Second Nature Coffee Co. plans to retain King Street Coffee’s staff and coffee vendors, ensuring a smooth transition for loyal customers. They are also considering expanding the Second Nature brand in Northern Virginia if this location proves successful, potentially bringing their unique coffee experience to a wider audience.

King Street Coffee’s last day will be Monday, July 29th, with Second Nature Coffee Co. aiming to open in the first week of August.
