Due to incredible demand, a second Lake Street Dive concert has been added for July 6th. Tickets for this newly announced show will go on sale Friday, the 28th at 10:00 AM. For the first time, Lake Street Dive embraced collaborative songwriting for “Good Together,” working together from the initial stages of creation. During a week-long session in Vermont, the band utilized unconventional methods, like a 20-sided die, to spark their creativity and explore new musical territories. This process led to exciting innovations in their harmonies, tempos, and grooves, further enriching their already diverse sound. Bassist Bridget Kearney noted, “It ended up taking us to new places we never would’ve gotten to otherwise, in terms of things like harmony and tempo and groove.” This collaborative approach not only expanded their musical horizons but also deepened their artistic bond.
