  • Group Bookings: Tickets can be purchased in blocks of up to 10 per transaction. If fewer than 10 tickets are available for a particular session, the remaining quantity will be the maximum available for selection.
  • No Waitlist or Walk-up if Sold Out: There is no waitlist system. If a session is sold out online, there are no walk-up sales available on-site.
  • Outdoor Venue & Weather: The MDP Ice Ribbon is an outdoor venue and operates in Chicago’s winter weather conditions. Check the weather forecast before purchasing your tickets. The Ice Ribbon remains open unless officially announced closed.
  • Cancellations & Notifications: In case of closure due to weather or other emergencies, Maggie Daley Park management will make every effort to announce cancellations at least one hour before the session. Registered participants will be notified via email, and announcements will be posted on the MDP website and social media channels.
  • Refund Processing for Closures: If your session is cancelled by management, refunds will be processed automatically and may take up to 10 business days. You do not need to contact them to request a refund in case of park-initiated closures.
