Riley Street Station Reopens in East Aurora Under New Ownership, Promising Classic Charm and Fresh Flavors

Riley Street Station, a beloved landmark in East Aurora, is set to welcome patrons once again, preserving its historic essence while introducing exciting new elements under the guidance of new owner, Amabile. This revitalized restaurant and bar aims to honor the cherished memories associated with Riley Street Station, ensuring it remains a cornerstone of the community for years to come.

Amabile, an Elma native with deep entrepreneurial roots, is enthusiastically embarking on this venture. Coming from a family business background – his father notably owned South Buffalo Chiropractic and Mr. A’s Village Corner Pub for over two decades – Amabile is eager to build upon his family’s legacy. Balancing his new role at Riley Street Station with his upcoming graduation as a Doctor of Chiropractic in May 2024 and joining Universal Chiropractic, Amabile demonstrates a strong dedication to both his professional and entrepreneurial pursuits. His commitment to Riley Street Station is clear: to maintain its iconic name and reputation while injecting fresh energy and offerings. “Everyone knows Riley Street Station,” Amabile stated, emphasizing the importance of the name’s recognition and the countless positive experiences linked to it. “It’s filled with great memories with many more to come.”

Riley Street Station is poised to operate as a full-service restaurant and bar, presenting a diverse menu designed to cater to a wide range of tastes. Diners can anticipate a selection that spans from appetizing starters and comforting soups and salads to satisfying pizzas, wings, burgers, and seafood dishes. Daily lunch and dinner specials will further enhance the dining experience, providing variety and value. The bar will feature attractive happy hour specials and dedicated promotions for Buffalo Bills Game Days, making it a prime spot for sports enthusiasts and casual patrons alike.

Nostalgia will be served alongside innovation at Riley Street Station. Amabile confirmed the return of several fan-favorite menu items, including the renowned Train Wreck Nachos, the hearty Depot Burger, the flavorful Twin Peaks Sirloin, and the delectable Shrimp Pesto Linguine. Complementing these classics will be exciting new signature dishes such as a Mediterranean Platter, Stuffed Seafood Banana Peppers, an innovative Apple Bacon Bourbon Burger, and a robust Cioppino, promising a culinary journey that blends familiarity with novelty.

Beyond the menu, Riley Street Station will offer an enhanced ambiance. While the building itself remains in excellent condition, Amabile has invested in modern upgrades to elevate the customer experience. New televisions and a state-of-the-art sound system have been installed, along with the addition of two dart boards for entertainment. Looking ahead to the warmer months, plans are in place to install two inviting fire pits and expand the front patio, creating an appealing outdoor space for guests to enjoy. With these improvements, Riley Street Station is set to provide a welcoming and contemporary environment while retaining the timeless charm that has made it an East Aurora institution.
