The first component, the SW 10th Street connector lanes, is designed to enhance regional connectivity by directly linking the Sawgrass Expressway and I-95. The second component involves transforming the existing South 10th Street into a “Complete Street.” This redesigned local street will feature a shared-use path, ensuring seamless connectivity to all local properties and the surrounding local road network. By creating this separation, the project aims to significantly reduce traffic congestion in the area, improve overall traffic flow and safety, and enhance emergency evacuation capabilities.
