Spring Street Dermatology: Patient Portal & Practice Policies

Welcome to Spring Street Dermatology, where we are committed to providing you with exceptional dermatological care. To enhance your experience and ensure smooth communication, we offer a convenient patient portal and have established clear practice policies. This guide will help you navigate our portal and understand our procedures for appointments, new patients, and cancellations.

Accessing Your Care with Spring Street Dermatology’s Patient Portal

Our patient portal is designed to streamline non-emergency communication and appointment requests. Please note that for urgent medical situations, it is crucial to call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room immediately. The patient portal is not intended for internet-based diagnosis, triage, or other emergency medical services. For prescription refills, kindly contact your pharmacy directly as refill requests are not accepted via phone or the patient portal.

For the best user experience, we recommend using Google Chrome. If you are manually typing the URL, please omit “www” or “https” from the address.

Spring Street Dermatology New Patient Information

To ensure a seamless first visit, Spring Dermatology kindly requests all new patients to complete their information on both portals at least 48 hours before their scheduled appointment. If you encounter any difficulties accessing the portals beforehand, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow sufficient time for registration and avoid potential delays or cancellation. Please remember to bring a valid picture ID and your insurance card to every appointment.

Understanding Spring Street Dermatology’s Cancellation Policies

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring you to reschedule or cancel your appointment. However, timely cancellations are essential to allow us to offer appointment slots to other patients in need of care. Failure to cancel appointments deprives other patients of timely treatment and impacts our scheduling efficiency.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy for Doctor’s Appointments:

If you are unable to keep your doctor’s appointment, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellation. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a fifty dollar ($50) cancellation fee, which unfortunately cannot be billed to your insurance provider.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy for Cosmetic Appointments:

Cosmetic appointments are highly sought after, and missed appointments represent a significant loss of opportunity for both our practice and other clients. Therefore, cancellations for cosmetic appointments require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a one hundred dollar ($100) cancellation fee. Patients who fail to show up for their cosmetic appointments without any prior notification will be charged the full appointment amount.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy for Surgical Appointments:

Surgical appointments necessitate extensive preparation and scheduling. Due to the significant time allocation and resources involved, cancellations for surgical procedures require a more extended notice period. If a surgical appointment is not canceled at least 10 days in advance, a seventy-five dollar ($75) fee will be applied, which will not be covered by your insurance.

We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these policies, which help us to provide the best possible service to all our patients at Spring Street Dermatology. By utilizing our patient portal and understanding our policies, you contribute to a more efficient and patient-centered practice.
