Over the weekend, amidst good company at my friend Kyle’s birthday celebration, I brought along a special guest: my treasured Chun-Li action figure. While Caitlin, the other birthday star, was off on a cycling adventure, Chun-Li and I were ready to join the party.
This particular Chun-Li isn’t just any figure; it’s the 1994 Hasbro release from the Street Fighter: The Movie toy line. For years, this figure has been a prized piece in my collection. Its unique sculpt, initially intended for the movie line and potentially for a Cammy figure, combined with Chun-Li’s undeniable coolness, makes it exceptionally special. Plus, as a fan of GI Joe-style figures and recognizing the relative scarcity of female characters in that genre, this Chun-Li holds a unique appeal.
To share my enthusiasm for this classic toy, I invited my friends at the birthday gathering to each capture a photo of Chun-Li. It was a fun way to get everyone involved with one of my favorite figures. The results, presented here in the order they were taken, showcase Chun-Li’s birthday party adventure through different perspectives.

Celebrating with Kyle and Caitlin, two of my dearest friends, was fantastic, and Chun-Li seemed to thoroughly enjoy her birthday outing as well. It was a fun way to appreciate a unique piece of Street Fighter movie memorabilia and share it with friends.
