Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a St. Louis-based private equity firm renowned for its investments in founder-led middle market businesses, has announced the successful closing of its sixth committed capital investment fund, Thompson Street Capital Partners VI LP (TSCP VI). Demonstrating strong investor confidence, the Fund significantly surpassed its initial $1.5 billion target, marking a major milestone for the firm.
The Fund attracted commitments from a diverse and highly respected group of global limited partners. This includes a mix of both new and existing investors, comprising leading public, corporate, and foreign pension funds, endowments, insurance companies, foundations, and family offices. Notably, mirroring their conviction in TSCP’s strategy, the firm’s partners also made substantial capital commitments to TSCP VI, aligning their interests with those of their investors.

TSCP strategically targets investment opportunities within high-growth sectors, specifically Life Sciences & Healthcare, Software & Technology, and Business and Consumer Services and Products. TSCP VI will maintain this focused approach, concentrating on equity investments ranging from $50 million to $250 million in companies exhibiting an EBITDA between $5 million and $50 million. Signaling the fund’s readiness and TSCP’s active deal sourcing, approximately twenty-five percent of TSCP VI has already been deployed into four platform investments.
