VIVA! Streets Austin is making a vibrant comeback to East 6th Street, transforming it into a mile-long, car-free festival zone. Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 13th, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and prepare for an afternoon packed with activities for all ages. From I-35 to Robert T. Martinez Jr Boulevard, East 6th Street will be alive with energy and community spirit.

Get ready to experience a diverse range of engaging activities. Challenge yourself with obstacle courses, cultivate your green thumb in gardening classes, or learn self-defense in anti-bullying workshops and martial arts demonstrations. Dance enthusiasts can join ballroom dancing lessons, yoga sessions, and Zumba classes. Sports lovers can participate in soccer, basketball, tennis, and even bike polo. For more relaxed fun, enjoy giant chess, cane fishing, bird walks, hula hooping, and chalk art. Budding cyclists can take advantage of “learn to ride a bike” courses and a pilot bicycle intersection. Don’t forget the kids’ drum circle and PupStops for furry friends, ensuring fun for every member of the family. Adding an extra layer of excitement, SkyCandy will present special aerial performances and classes throughout the event.
