Discovering Everett Street Diner: A Must-Visit Breakfast Spot in Bryson City

Gina’s recommendations for breakfast in Bryson City led us to a true gem: Everett Street Diner. Initially, my heart was set on revisiting my all-time favorite breakfast place in Asheville, a cherished spot from our honeymoon. The craving for their homemade biscuits and gravy was strong, but timing was against us, pushing breakfast into lunchtime territory. However, the online buzz around Everett Street Diner was undeniable. Review after review raved about their homemade gravy and exceptional service. Intrigued and slightly skeptical, I decided to give it a shot, secretly doubting it could surpass my Asheville favorite.

Boy, was I wrong.

From the very first bite, I was completely blown away. Let me be clear – this isn’t hyperbole or a paid advertisement. Everett Street Diner’s breakfast was not just good; it was truly exceptional, surpassing even that beloved Asheville spot. Whoever is working their magic in the kitchen, especially with those biscuits and gravy, deserves serious accolades. It was a taste of Southern breakfast heaven. My choice, the “Dixie Benedict,” was so incredible that I’d honestly consider making the 2-3 hour drive back every Saturday just to experience it again. Seriously, what’s stopping me? Adulting comes with car ownership and breakfast cravings, right?

This is food perfection, pure and simple. No apologies for the food indulgence – some experiences are just too good not to share. Check out Katie’s Blog for more of our Bryson City adventures!
