The brunch at Geer Street Garden is a fantastic deal at just $11. You simply pay at the bar, and this unlocks access to their generous buffet, allowing for as many plates as your heart (and stomach) desires. Coffee is also included and is self-serve at the bar’s edge. If you prefer tea or other soft drinks, just ask the friendly bartender, and they’ll be happy to assist you.

For those looking for something a little stronger, alcoholic beverages are available for an additional cost. Starting at noon, Geer Street Garden kicks it up a notch with a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar – a true highlight! Imagine crafting your perfect Bloody Mary from a pint glass filled by the bartender and then approaching a tempting array of mason jars loaded with flavorful additions. Think horseradish, a variety of pickled vegetables, and even crispy bacon to take your drink to the next level. Beyond Bloody Marys, they also offer a selection of beers and a full bar to quench your thirst.

The brunch buffet itself is reliably good. If you’re comfortable with food served from chafing dishes, the quality-to-quantity ratio here is excellent, especially when compared to some other brunch spots in the area. Geer Street Garden focuses on preparing food in smaller batches and constantly refreshing the buffet, ensuring that you’re enjoying dishes made with fresh, “real” ingredients. They’ve struck a great balance in their selection – offering enough variety to keep you happily exploring your options without overwhelming you with choices.

While some menu items rotate weekly, giving you something new to try, there are also beloved “regulars” that you can usually count on seeing. On the rotating side, I’ve enjoyed dishes like flavorful deviled eggs, a comforting southwestern chicken and rice casserole, and their unique take on fried chicken – prepared “catfish” style – paired with creamy mashed potatoes.

Among the consistent favorites, you’ll often find delicious quiche, dreamy French toast, a fresh local greens salad, a vibrant fruit salad, and potato hash (with both vegetarian and meat-lover versions available). They also serve up tasty hand-formed sausage patties and crispy bacon. My only minor critique? The biscuits aren’t served warm, but surprisingly, they are still quite enjoyable.

One testament to the brunch’s appeal is a friend of mine who has made Geer Street Garden brunch a weekly ritual for six weeks straight! Perhaps they deserve a frequent visitor card at this point.

Geer Street Garden occupies a corner location with understated signage, so it can be easy to miss on your first visit. In fact, the first time I went, I drove right past it, wondering if I had missed it entirely! The building itself has a cool history – it was formerly a gas station and has been wonderfully transformed into a restaurant with exposed brick walls and a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. When the weather is pleasant, as it often is, you can enjoy their outdoor patio, furnished with picnic benches and umbrellas. Geer Street Garden is a welcoming place for everyone, from families with kids to individuals of all ages. Even your furry friends are welcome on the outdoor patio!
