Respectful Conduct at Orlando Science Center
We believe in fostering a community of respect within the Orlando Science Center. We kindly request that all individuals treat each other with consideration throughout their visit. Orlando Science Center is designed for the enjoyment of all guests, and to maintain this positive atmosphere, we reserve the right to conclude the visit of any individual or group whose behavior is deemed inappropriate or disrespectful. This includes instances of inadequate supervision of children, failure to adhere to good standards of conduct, or any misuse or vandalism of Orlando Science Center property. Please be aware that for the safety and well-being of all children, guests under 12 years of age must be accompanied and directly supervised by a responsible adult at all times during their visit to the Orlando Science Center on East Princeton Street, Orlando, FL.
Dress Code Policy
To maintain a family-friendly environment, Orlando Science Center upholds a dress code. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask visitors to leave if their attire is considered disruptive or inappropriate. For the comfort and safety of all guests, shirts and shoes are required to be worn at all times while inside the Orlando Science Center.
Examples of attire that are considered unacceptable and may result in refusal of entry include:
- Clothing displaying messages or language that is deemed offensive to other visitors.
- Apparel that reveals what are considered to be inappropriate portions of the body.
- Clothing that is excessively tight or that unduly contours specific body parts.
Tobacco and Weapons Policy
As a LEED-certified facility, Orlando Science Center is committed to environmental responsibility and the health of our visitors. Therefore, smoking, dipping, chewing tobacco, or the use of any tobacco products is permitted only in designated areas located at least 25 feet away from all exterior doors of the Orlando Science Center. Please note that tobacco products and electronic cigarettes are strictly prohibited within the Orlando Science Center building.
The safety of our visitors and staff is paramount. The possession of weapons of any kind is strictly forbidden on Orlando Science Center premises. Any individual suspected of carrying a weapon will be detained, and law enforcement authorities will be contacted to conduct a search and seizure if necessary.
Ticket Policy and CineDome Regulations
Please be aware that all tickets purchased for the Orlando Science Center are nonrefundable and non-exchangeable. For the safety and viewing pleasure of all guests in the Dr. Phillips CineDome, late seating and reentry are not permitted once films have commenced. The 3D glasses provided for films are the property of Orlando Science Center; please ensure they are placed in the designated bins as you exit the Digital Adventure Theater. To prevent copyright infringement and ensure an uninterrupted viewing experience for all, cameras and recording equipment are not allowed in the CineDome and Digital Adventure Theater. Orlando Science Center management is not responsible for personal items left unattended anywhere within the facility.
Photography and Filming
Orlando Science Center periodically photographs and/or records visitors during exhibits, programs, and live performances for advertising and promotional purposes. If you have any objection to the Orlando Science Center using photographs or recordings in which you or your children may appear, please inform a staff member immediately upon noticing photography or filming in progress for these specific reasons.
